Elizabeth Pegler, first Head Mistress of Dow Hill School.

 

Elizabeth Pegler was a teacher at Kurseong for 25 years.

You may have noticed on this plan (at the bottom in red), the reference to "BJ". This is the grave of Brian Jones - the original guitarist of the Rolling Stones.
